Shaping exhaustion

Went down to Shaper studios today in the south of San Diego and finished my board as i'll be leaving california in a week ... fast and intense work .. i shaped from head to toe in a day , its a mignature of a longboard future fixe singlefin double V concave tail to mid 6'Oat its highest point... I am addicted to shapeing i think .

                                The First Annual San Diego Surf Film Festival Tool place last Week End and i had the opportunity to be invited bY TWO AMAZING film makers , Mike Weybret and Hayley Gordon showing                               their late shorts MARGAUX and BY THE WAY .

Pretty edited short videos and seeing myself on the BIG screen in that Shed full of Hundreds of boards sourounding everybody was definetly  and honour .

 Been Working a creative exchange with mister master shaper Mani caro from Mandala surfboards .. He makes amazing kind of fishes , single fins with another vision of surfing that stick with longboarding . He landed me a board the other day for me to try and paint on it . Give it back when i leave caliland ... I am very happy about that collab .

Daily morning surf in California.

The current South swell and off shore light winds in the mornings are the ones to catch if you wake up early ... Some of the days i am spending here are glassy all day but not as often as when i come in Fall . Spring in California is mixed up with lucky days and some windy ones but i have fun surfing on every conditions there ... Even a very windy Sano is still Good .

Hand Plane

Lately been shapeing hand planes out of foam blanks left tails at Shaper Studio in Pacific Beach ... i cannot wait to run on the shore breaks with it !
